## Cleaning before applying antimicrobial coatings

Microbes can be extremely hazardous. For normal contamination, solid surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned before applying the antimicrobial coating. All porous surfaces, such as carpets and upholstery, should be well vacuumed or professionally cleaned.
