How to prepare workplace for antimicrobial coating application

KnowledgeBase - Customer Experience

Surfaces to be coated—high-traffic touch-point surfaces in particular—should be clean and free of dirt, dust, and debris. If you treat a dirty surface, antimicrobial coatings will bond to the dirt, and when that dirt comes off, the effectiveness of the antimicrobial will decrease.

We will disinfect your surfaces before we apply the AMC.

However, the System4 IPS team will not move items left on counters, desks, tables, or shelves. Those items left on surfaces will be treated, but the surface on which the item rests will be untreated.

In some cases, you may choose to leave items on surfaces intentionally. A phone left on a desk will be treated, but the surface of the desk beneath the phone will not. The phone is a high use touchpoint, but the surface beneath it is not.
